  • I have a confession: I used to have social phobi I have a confession: 

I used to have social phobia.

Yes. Me. 

The person who can’t stop posting reels. The one who gets paid to speak in front of people. 
The one who talks incessantly at social gatherings.

It’s true. 

I used to glow beet red and keep my eyes glued to my cue cards during speeches at school. 

I remember dripping with sweat when I entered my new school in grade 5.

👉There are 2 things I want you to know about supplements for ADHD:

1. They can have amazing effects on focus, hyperactivity, sleep, and even anxiety.

2. The vitamins that will help your child are VERY specific to your child.  There is a combination out there that will likely have a very significant impact on their behaviour - but - to get there faster, you need someone to help you figure out which supplements are likely needed based on their symptoms, health history, and current diet. 

For example, restless legs at night can indicate Iron or Magnesium deficiency - a health pro can tell you whether Iron or Mg is lacking in the diet, point you to a high quality supplement, and give you tips to maximize effect - like taking Iron away from high Calcium foods/supplements and with Vitamin C foods/supplements.

1. High-quality multivitamin - why? Most kids aren’t getting 100% of every single vitamin and mineral and this is a great safety net. Choose a high-quality brand from a health food store - ask for one without chemical fillers and with bioavailable forms of nutrients.

2. High-quality Omega 3 - Most kids - and I mean like 99% of kids - are not getting enough Omega 3 and it’s crucial for cognitive function. A high-quality (purity tested) brand with at least 1000mg Omega 3 (preferably with twice as much EPA as DHA) is another great safety net - PLUS many parents report an improvement in focus and emotional regulation after 2-3 months of consistent Omega 3 use.
